My printer is stuck on initializing.
When I turn on the printer, there is a count of 7 >> signs in the display.
Then it hangs....
Any suggestions? Hard reset?
I tried to hard reset the printer by keeping it on and disconnect power for 60 seconds. Power is direct to wall outlet. When I reconnect power cord and turn printer on, no change.
When the printers is turned on, the display is showing >> signs.
It stops initializing and the display then shows:
Hewlett-Packard
>> >> >> >> >> >> >>
Then the printers hangs.
I also tried to update the firmware, but no succes. The printer in windows tries to connect to HP printer by TCP/IP. Because the printer is not started fully, there is no connection. So no firmware update.
Then I tried to add a new printer in windows, using USB. But windows does not find the printer on usb, so I'm not able to add it succesfully.
Is there another way for a hard reset, for example a key combination during power on?
Is there also another way for updating the firmware? Printer has only usb, wifi and ethernet?
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Arslan143,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
Your HP LaserJet Pro 100 M175a Color Multifunction Printer only supports connection using the USB cable.
Make sure to select the USB connection in the printer setup software. Only plug in the USB cable when prompted to do so. Click here
Let's try connecting the printer using the WPS push method -
1. Press the WPS button on your wireless router.
2. Press and hold the Wireless button on the product control panel for two seconds. Release the button when the wireless light starts blinking. 3. Wait up to two minutes while the product establishes a network connection with the wireless router.
Install HP Print and scan doctor
