Paper jam/error is the issue. The paper guide seems or may be the problem source.  As soon as  the top page is grabbed it slides off the paper guide, crinkles a bit and then stops and the paper jam error ensues. No paper jammed anywhere in the machine and reset does not work. . No clue what to do. Thanks in advance for any help. Would hate to have to spend the $ to get it serviced for such a "simple" issue

When paper jams, remove both toner and drum and check the leading edge of the paper it's probably hitting a foreign object. Inspect the interior of the printer and look for something that shouldn't be there where the paper sheet is blocked.
