Hi there. I have some 18x12 (inch) paper that I would like to print on -- per the advertisement that's still within the maximum permitted by the machine. However 18x12 does not appear on the predefined list of papers in the system print utility. I have attempted to add a custom size to the Windows print server, but it does not appear on the list in the print utility when I actually go to print a document.

I have consulted the manual which gives instructions for adding custom paper sizes for Mac, but it leaves out any instructions for PC. Is there something I'm missing? Am I supposed to be constrained to only the preselected paper sizes?

Thanks very much!

Isaac

Ok, I have found one solution.

I was using the driver software obtained from the official website called:

"HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 (64-bit) for USB connected printers"

under the "Driver-Universal Print Driver for Managed Services (2)" tab because I only intended to ever use it connected by USB.

I uninstalled this and installed the alternate driver they provide called:

"HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 (64-bit)"

under the "Driver-Universal Print Driver (2)" tab.

This seems to be the more "modern" print driver and it allowed me to add or import custom paper settings.

Hope this helps somebody.
