HP LaserJet Enterprise M507

Hello,

A newly acquired and installed HP LaserJet Enterprise M507  gets stuck every night on initialization screen.

The screen displays: Initializing 35942 when (getting) stuck.

- Firmware is up to date.

- We already tried reinstalling the (network) printer but to no avail.

Any clues on what's causing this, and how we can resolve this?

I would disconnect the printer from your network or computer overnight to see if it has the same problem. It could be a computer sending a bad command or could be a faulty printer. Have you confirmed that the outlet is providing good power and that you are plugged directly into the wall and not into a UPS or surge bar?

We disconnected from network but the issue persists. The outlet is working fine and directly connected to the wall.

We checked the eventlogs and this error frequently shows up:

Error during firmware installation
