My HP LaserJet MFP M140w one day just stopped working.
Printor status is "Check your account" with the message "A problem has occured with your HP account and you will be unable to print very soon unless the issue resolved. This could be related to your billing cycle"
I have never been signed up for any InstantInc service, the printer was bought without this package.
I've spent about 6 hours talking to HP Support and extremely upset of its unprofessional behaviour.
I have re-booted/re-set/re-created/re-connected printer/laptop/wi-fi whatever else a dozen of times despite of the fact it doesn't fix the issue.
Once they agreed everything is OK with Printer and the issue in Account settings, and even confiormed I have no InstantInc subscription required... And that's it.
Support sessions just either ends unexpectedly after a few hours of talks with a reasonong "Customer left the conversation" (what????), or like it was today when I was asked to re-boot everything including PC and WiFi router, and the link provided via email to re-start the session simply doesn't wiork and shows me the message "Your session has ended"
I'm not sure how to explain how frustrated am I.
It's the very last HP product I have ever bought.
Can someone either touch myself and finally solve the case, or simply get this peace of junk out from my home and give me my money back?

And after 2 more hours of support session they finally fixed something account-related, yet another attempt of re-installing the printer result in HP Smart software shown the promo about InstantInc special offer, and once it was rejected all the issues disappeared, printer registered, no messages about any limitations shown...
It simply the worst user experience I have ever had.
8+ hours of troubleshooting... I wish someone pay me my commercial rate for this.
