HP LaserJet MFP M438n
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On 19 April 2022, now it is less than four months, I purchased HP LaserJet MFP M438n, with only 25 scans and 15 prints.

Now I got a clicking sound after turning it on, and an error message U234-h fuser error but if I turned it off for few minutes and cooled it down, the I can print or copy for just 2 seconds, then the print or copy stuck for 15 seconds then the same error message appears again. and Again if turned off and cooled for few minutes, it will print again for 2 seconds and so on.

What is the problem? is that bad manufacturing or what? any CSR Customer self-repair solution? or  shall i  change any part during the warranty?

Do you have the printer plugged directly into the wall? Surge bars and UPS devices restrict power and will cause printers to throw a fuser error code. It could also very well be a defective unit, it happens and that is what warranty is for.  This forum is a user to user support form and is not monitored constantly by HP. If you are having issues you should either contact your vendor or open a case at support.hp.com

Thanks for sharing the info.

Please note that the printer was working fine previously, in the same place, for 20 to 25 prints since I have purchased, but when I used it now this error happens,

And As I mentioned the printer works fine for the first 2 to 3 seconds only.

If there is an electrical power problem, it would not have printed any paper right? or even not print for the first 2 or 3 seconds? with that error persists,

Can you please share email for hp support as I can not find any info, thanks

It is wrong to assume that you do not have a power problem and your answer leads me to believe you are plugged into some type of power splitter or multitap device as  you do not state that you are not. Power issues do not always cause out right failure, it can cause intermittent issues, especially when the fuser is in warm up mode and drawing significant power from  the source. It is also possible that the fuser unit itself is bad, but as indicated, you need to go through the steps at support.hp.com to create a case. If you just purchased this device, and your page count certainly suggests that, you could contact the vendor you purchased it from.
