I have multiple LJ M203dw printers that will have a delay when printing. So you can send a 1 page job or 70 page job and you get the delay. When you print the job the printer will immediately respond like it is going to print the document but may not pick up the paper for 20 to 30 seconds. It will print the first page and then another delay of 20 to 30 seconds for the next page, so on and so forth for the remainder of the document.
You can temporarily fix it by unplugging the power cable for a minute. Plug it back in and the print job prints normal. The printer may work for a couple of weeks and then back to the delay issue.
Again this issue is happening with multiple M203dw printers at our office. All are connected to the computer via USB, and have the latest drivers from HP. I have maxed out the eco settings so it will not go to sleep constantly. At my wits end with these printers. On one of the printers I updated the firmware and that caused a whole other set of issues with envelope printing.
