Product: HP LaserJet Pro M404dn

Hi!  We installed an HP M404dn on our server and it's been working on and off.  We're using it for envelopes but it constantly says "Out of Paper."  Even after removing the envelopes and placing regular paper into the cassette, it still complains that it's "Out of Paper."

 

We updated to the latest firmware.

 

Any ideas?

HP Recommended

The "Out of Paper" error: Is error displayed on printer's control panel or your computer?  Configure manual tray for any type/size paper.  If error is on your computer, Go to the print driver.  Look under the Port tab.  If printer port shows as a (WDS) port, switch port to printer's IP address.  Just select Add Port, Standard TCP/IP, New Port, follow the prompts to enter IP.
