Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

My M477fdw Laser Printer has suddenly stopped working as it is permanently stuck with a message saying Initializing when it is turned on. I've googled this and can see quite a few other people with the same issue. However none of the fixes such as removing the toner cartridges then powering it on, or clearing the NVRAM by pressing the left hand side of the touchscreen when the HP logo is displayed at start-up, seem to have worked. Still the same message.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Thanks

Hi All,

I'm guessing by the lack of response that there is no real answer to this issue. I'll leave it another day then bit the bullet and buy another printer.

Thanks

You have the wrong instructions for NVRAM reset. I will be sending you a PM with correct instructions, but have to wait for a moderator to enable that.
