My company switched out my HOP laptop with a Windows tablet with Windows 11. I was trying to setup my HP M507 MICR check printer check printer. I have not been able to print to this printer since the switch. I first received an error message Error: 49.1A.01. With the help of my IT department, we reloaded the driver to the tablet, and restarted it several times and still unable to print. Now, it has been stuck in the Initializing mode (do not unplug) for three days and just keeps counting up; currently at 124056. The IT person said as long as it's moving it's doing something. I feel like this is not necessarily a good sign and something should be done as it could just keep running indefinitely like this. Any suggestions? I read online the suggestion to disconnect the ethernet cable and do a hard restart, but not sure if that is the HP suggested course of action. Please help:)

The first step would be to turn the printer OFF and disconnect the ethernet cable from the printer.
Turn the printer ON without ethernet to see if will it boot to Ready. If that doesn't help cold reset is the next step.
