My HP printer (HP MFP 1202w) has a very weird issue.
For several weeks, as soon as I start the printer, the three orange dots flash and I get a message for Error 35.
But when I open and close the compartment and the error goes away and it works like normal.
I looked at the manual it it says Error 35 means:
"Debris in the toner reload port is preventing the printer from connecting to the Toner Reload Kit.
Remove the Toner Reload Kit, clear any debris from the reload port, and then reinsert the kit."
This doesn't make sense as I haven't loaded any toner refill kits when I started the printer.
Out of curiosity, A few days ago, I bought a toner refill kit and tried to use it today.
The printer would not accept the toner despite several attempts.
I don't know what the issue is here.
I tried cleaning the printer with compressed air to remove debris but got no results.
Do I need buy a new imaging drum?
Has anyone else experienced such an issue?
If so, how was it resolved?
