Note, this problem is not one-time fix! It happens again and again after successful "troubleshooting". The official troubleshooting guide says: turn off and on the printer and the problem is solved! But after few days it happens again. I cannot run back and forth to operate the printer with buttons every time when I need to print something and then sit and wait when it reboots or reconnects. This is ridiculous. My printer and my laptop are always on and I expect every time when I print something it starts printing immediately without telling me again that it went offline.
What also temporary helps - plug out and in the Ethernet cable (when connected with cable). Turn off and on WiFi from the menu (when connected over WiFi). The problem happens both on Ethernet cable and on wireless connection.
Note that scanning to networking folder continues to work. Only printing over networking doesn't work.

@Lxcp, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Update Printer Firmware
- Go to the printer’s support page on the manufacturer’s website.
- Download and install any available firmware updates for your printer.
Check Network Connection
- For Ethernet: Make sure the Ethernet cable is plugged in properly and try a different cable or router port.
- For WiFi: Ensure the printer is connected to the correct WiFi network and that the signal is strong.
Check Router Settings
- Make sure your router firmware is updated.
- Check your router’s DHCP settings.
Disable Printer Power-Saving Mode
- Go into your printer’s settings and turn off any sleep or power-saving features that might disconnect the network.
Reinstall Printer Drivers
- Uninstall the printer driver from your computer.
- Download the latest printer driver from the manufacturer’s website and install it again.
Clear Print Queue & Restart Print Spooler
- Go to Devices and Printers on your computer, right-click the printer, and clear any stuck print jobs.
- Restart the Print Spooler service (search "services" on your computer, find Print Spooler, and click Restart).
Check Router Isolation Settings
- Log into your router settings and disable any options like Guest Mode or Client Isolation that might block communication between devices.
I hope these steps help resolve the issue

These all steps you suggest do not help. This is just wild guesses generated by ChatGPT which do not explain what exactly doesn't work in a first place. The only recommendation that you forgot is to buy a new printer.

I apologize for the confusion earlier. It seems like the suggestions didn't address the core issue you're facing.
I recommend following the troubleshooting steps from this guide: HP printer is offline or unavailable | HP® Support
Let me know how it goes.
