Since it is a known issue that 59.CO is a developer-disengagement motor that experienced a rotational error, why is HP not taking responsibility to fix the problem? I have tried all the follow-through actions and was told by HP support that it is costly to repair, so I better buy a new printer, even though I have bought it for less than 3 years. So HP slogan makes product that AMAZE, means amazingly low quality?

Hi @mlim0812,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I can understand how disappointing and frustrating it must feel to encounter such an issue, especially with a product you’ve relied on and expected to last much longer.
59 error could be a bad motor or Developer motor rotation error. Remove all toner, power cycle the printer, and re-install one at a time, closing the access door each time before inserting another. See if one of the supplies seems to trigger the error.
Reset the printer:
- Turn the printer off using the power switch, and then wait at least 30 seconds.
- Turn the printer on and wait for it to initialize.
- If you are using a surge protector:
- Turn the printer off.
- Remove the surge protector.
- Plug the printer directly into the wall socket, and then turn the printer on.
- For 59.7X and 59.8X Errors, try a different toner cartridge. This might resolve the problem.
- If the error persists, contact customer support at www.hp.com/go/contactHP, or contact an HP-authorized service or support provider.
