To give background and hopefully to explain it well, I'll give a timeline.
Half a year ago, printer was working fine.
Suddenly, black ink stopped printing, though the printer thought everything was fine.
I tried resetting drivers, cleaning/aligning, washing off cartridge, nothing worked.
It was a recycled HP cartridge from Office Depot, so I decided to try and buy a new official HP black cartridge.
This worked. Print has been fine.
Fast forward to now, I'm having the same problem. Occasionally, some faded black will appear, but on further pages, it is nonexistent.
Printer ink is a third full.
Any help is appreciated with this, apparently I can't contact HP directly because my warranty is expired?
Thanks!

I just tried copying and I can confirm it still doesn't work.
Interestingly, I noticed that it did copy it, but the text was just extremely, extremely light on the page, if that helps.
Also, I've gone through all the steps on that page to no avail.

@heartofthechord, thank you for the information.
Kindly perform steps 6, 10, and 8 respectively from this document to resolve this issue. If the issue persists, it could be an issue with the ink cartridge or the printer itself.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
