Hi @LHeitzman

I'd like to help!

I understand you are receiving "b30" error on the printer screen.

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Jay,

Can you send me reset instructions as well for a HP office jet pro 9010.  I am having an issue with getting a blinking blue screen with error code B305DFF9.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Why does the 'solution' to this error code need to be private messaged?

I am having the same issue, as are many others, so please make the solution public, or private message it to me, please.

Many thanks.

I have run the Print and Scan Doctor, but it fails to complete the diagnostic stage - there are no Windows or HP printer updates to be done - all is up to date.

It appears this has been an issue for many for quite a while.

Do HP monitor this support forum?

In summary:

Factory reset does not seem to work for any period after the re-set.

My operating system and printer software is up to date.

in any event, this is not a substantive, long-term solution.

Come on, HP, please provide a real, reliable, long-term solution and let everyone know it is available.

Thank you

Dear Jay,

I have the same issue where my All in One 9015 stalls with the blue screen and error code B305DFF9, this used to appear every now and then but recently multiple times per day.

What does factory reset comprises of? I have a schedule of planned switching on and off per week day, will these settings disappear with a factory reset?

Can you provide me the factory reset info for my specific device?

Thanks in advance

Jurgen
