Hi @DP1129,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 isn't printing despite having new ink cartridges and no visible error messages, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure the cartridges are properly installed and not expired. Remove and reinsert them to make sure they're seated correctly.

Printer Status: Make sure the printer is set as the default printer on your computer and there are no print jobs stuck in the queue:

  • On Windows, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners, select your printer, and click Open queue.
  • On Mac, go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and click Open Print Queue.

Print Head Cleaning: Use the printer's built-in cleaning function to clean the print heads:

  • Go to the printer's control panel or use the HP Smart app, select Printer Maintenance, and choose Clean Printheads.

Check for Paper Jams: Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer.

Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer and install them. This can often resolve printing issues.

Reconnect Printer: If you’re using a wireless connection, try reconnecting the printer to your network. For wired connections, ensure cables are securely connected.

Restart Devices: Restart the printer, computer, and router to refresh connections.

Print Test Page: Try printing a test page directly from the printer’s menu to see if it prints correctly.

Reinstall Printer Drivers: On your computer, uninstall and then reinstall the printer drivers. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hello, thank you for your suggestions.

Here is some additional information.

I am able to print the diagnostic page from the printer menu with no problem.

The driver is up to date.

After performing a power cycle through HP app, I am able to send a document to the printer, however, it comes out as many, many pages of garbage.

I also noticed that in the print menu in HP app, there was no option to print double sided, whereas before this option was present (and I have used it may times without a problem). I am not sure what changed to result in this behavior.

Your additional help is very much needed and appreciated. I am not able to use this printer until this is resolved.

Hello, I hope you saw my second post. Unfortunately, the proposed solution did not help. I am still not able to use my printer. If I am not able to find a resolution to this issue I will have to unfortunately trash this printer. This would be extremely disappointing and will be promptly reflected in the reviews online.

Please provide another solution to this problem.

Thank you!!!
