This is a new printer and it's so frustrating because I've had printer problems for years with HP products. The printer works for a while, then it doesn't, so I buy a new one. This one I've owned for only 2 months. Now I have error code F1.01.01.02 and nothing has worked in terms of getting it back up and running. Someone please help!

Welcome to the HP Community --

I've had the opposite experience with HP printers over the years --

Means nothing, of course -- people care about their own problems.

Smiling.

I ran across a similar situation with a new HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e a couple of months ago.

F0.xx is a firmware error.

In my case, after fighting it for a bit, the solution was to Restore the printer to factory defaults,

Right after that, Restart both printer and computer,

Wait for the printer update it's Firmware (check printer control panel for confirmation that it's done).

If that doesn't work,

  • Recheck / Adjust the Network connection to use a stable Ethernet connection

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Section Network > Primary Ethernet > Check / Adjust Status and other tabs...

  • Check that you have added the printer to the router (manual / Static IP)
  • Restart everything
  • If necessary, redo that Restore to Factory Defaults.

No Joy?

I suggest you Contact HP Support and ask for  help.

Reminders - READ

Online Case Submission to HP Support is available to those whose devices registered and are still in Warranty.

Some regions display phone / chat contact information only after the case is submitted online

Not every issue is covered under the standard Hardware Warranty.  Purchased Care Pack Warranties differ by contract.

HP is not a "general" repair facility: Requests for out-of-warranty repairs are usually not accepted.

If the problem is hardware, if your device is in Warranty, if your device is Registered, and you cannot submit your case to Support, let us know and we will forward a request.

Important

HP Phone numbers you find on the Internet have likely been hijacked. Old HP phone numbers – for example, those numbers no longer used by HP since the move to “online” case submissions – might have been taken over by thieves.
