I recently installed an HP OfficeJet 5212 All-In-One printer, product number Z4B18A, and I have an issue with the duplex printing. Basically, when I choose the Duplex printing option on one of the PC's connected wirelessly to the printer, I am not able to set the printer to print the same on both pages, even though I keep adjusting the options in the printer's properties. I tried switching the settings and tried printing on long and on the short edge, and on front to back and back to front, but none of these made a difference in printing in the same direction on both sides of a page.
Please advise if this issue could be fixed, and how.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:
Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo
14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
15.) Restart the computer.
Once done, please download and install the software from here:

Hi, and thank you for getting back to me on this issue. After giving this more thought and running a few more printing tests, I realized that the duplex printing issue only happens randomly, and today it has not happened at all.
I also have a question regarding HP Instant Ink. I signed up and received a 5 month free trial of instant ink last month, but now I am already running low on the color cartridge but still show as having 4 additional months of free printing. So I'm not sure if there is anything I could do, given that my color cartridge is almost empty, but I am still within the free trial period. Will I only be mailed a new cartridge once the free trail period ends, which will be July 15?
Thank you.
