Product: HP OFFICEJET 6970
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

I just got a message that "there is a problem with the printhead."  I tried to go through the online tutorial on how to fix it, but it seems that there is nothing I can do but get it repaired?  Really?  Can I just buy a new printhead and replace it?  The printer is just shy of 2 years old and I am a very low volume user - less than 500 pages.   It's too late in the day to call the service agent.

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printers - Error Indicates Faulty Printhead and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure. I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out.
