Hewlett-Packard, what are you doing?  It's like you're actively trying to infuriate your customers. At every point you choose poorly and enrage your customer base.

You install firmware that pushes customers to buy only your ink cartridges (to the point of purposefully making printers non-responsive with non-HP ink): https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Ink-Cartridges-Print-Quality/OfficeJet-Pro-8710-Won-t-Allow-Pr...

Now, I can't print important documents in black and white because my Cyan cartridge is empty: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Errors-or-Lights-Stuck-Print-Jobs/HP-OfficeJet-Pro-8710-Can-n...

Why guys?  Seriously, why are all of your policies trash?  So, I have to make another trip to OfficeMax and buy colored cartridges for $40+ that I have zero interest in buying in order to print in black and white.

I'm so done with Hewlett Packard's cash grabs.  I could live to be 1,000 years old and I would never buy another Hewlett Packard printer.
