Office Jet Pro 8710 - error code C9C70000 - have removed cable - restarted laptop - checked wireless connection - no new downloads - basically 'out of the blue'

Hello Sheri819,

 

Please try the below steps to resolve the issue.

  1. While the printer is ON, remove the Printhead alongwith cartridges.
  2. While the printer is ON, unplug the Power Cord from back of the printer.
  3. Wait for 60 seconds.
  4. Now plug in the power cord to the printer.
  5. When prompted install the Printhead alongwith cartridges.

The above steps should resolve the issue.

Error code C9C70000 has occured again - when I hit power button, won't power up; goes directly to error code - therefore, unable to remove print head and cartridges   Thanks!

Please help! I cannot remove the cartridges since it stay in the right-hand corner.

I have the same error code, i.e. c9c70000.

OK thanks, the screen reset by itself when pressing the on/off button!
