Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer

Printer shows as offline on only 1 of 3 laptops in the house.  All are connected to the same router/network.  Therefore, the printer must be connected to the same network because the other 2 laptops show the printer as online and available ... and I can successfully print from those other 2 laptops.  Additionally, I can print from my Apple iPhone to this same printer.

I could print from this laptop a week ago.  This problem only started 2 - 3 days ago.

I have turned off the printer and unplugged it.  Then restarted the laptop and rebooted the router.  These are the exact instructions given on the HP Troubleshooting site.

Suggestions???

@CAV0, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Offline Issues on HP OfficeJet 9015!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

When a printer is showing as offline on just one of the laptops while it is working fine on others, the issue could be related to the specific laptop's settings or network configuration. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the offline issue:

Step 1: Check Printer Status

  1. On the laptop where the printer shows as offline, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  2. Locate the HP OfficeJet 9015 printer icon and right-click on it.
  3. Make sure to uncheck the option Use Printer Offline if it is checked.

Step 2: Restart Printer Spooler Service

  1. Press Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type services.msc and press Enter.
  3. Scroll down to find Print Spooler service.
  4. Right-click on Print Spooler service and select Restart.

Step 3: Reconnect to Printer

  1. Ensure that the printer is powered on and connected to the same network as your laptop.
  2. On the laptop, open the HP Smart App (if installed) or go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  3. Remove the HP OfficeJet 9015 from the list of printers.
  4. Add the printer again by selecting Add a printer and follow the prompts.

Step 4: Check Network Status

  1. Make sure that the laptop is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.
  2. Verify that there are no network issues on the laptop. You can do this by checking the internet connection or trying to access other network devices.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
