HP Officejet Pro L7780 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP OfficeJet Pro L7780 printer jams when printing but after paper is removed it continues to jam.  I am assuming this is a printer issue and not a software or driver issue???  The jam occurs in the back of the printer so I remove the attachment on the rear of the printer to get to the paper jam.  I see nothing lose in the area that could be causing this.

Check the left side interior for a broken white gear on the main shaft, that is the most common issue when a paper jam message appears. I can't find any pictures online, if you post a pic or your printer I can point you where to look, it's complicated to explain in words.

Here are the photos of the inside of the L7780 printer.  I cannot see a damaged gear.  Please advise where else to look.

In the 1st pic if the paper always stops at the same spot and the left side is bent check for a foreign object that might cause that paper ear. Not sure if this printer works with removed back cover run a print job and see does the shaft with grey rubber rollers rotate.

Thanks.  Can't see any foreign object.  Yes the wheels, including gray, rotate.

See the photo attached.....with circle.  There appears to be a small black clip with a small square hole in it and a white plastic piece behind it that is suppose to fit into that black piece but not sure.

Did you see my last message with the photo of the area that appears to be broken......circled in purple?  Can you determine if there appears to be a broken or missing piece in that area of the picture?20231104_103215~2.jpg

Did you receive the printer photos I sent and have a chance to review and offer advice/solution?
