HP Officejet Pro 6830

My HP Officejet 6830 printer is not recognizing the new Xfinity network connection that we have.  We recently updated our internet connections from Verizon DSL to Xfinity (Comcast).   Thus, we're not able to print.  I've tried the hard reset, unplugging the rear power connection cord, waiting 60 seconds, and rebooting the printer.  Any ideas?

Hi,

By doesn't recognize, you mean that the network is not listed while following the Wireless Setup Wizard? else please clarify the exact behavior.

A such will likely occur due to a router broadcasts in 5GHz Wi-Fi band only, while the printer only supports 2.4GHz wi-fi.

I suggest making sure that your router is set to broadcast a 2.4GHz wi-fi band, with a unique SSID name and not a one identical to the name used by the 5GHz band.

For any help changing your router configuration, I suggest contacting Xfinity support, keep in mind that the HP printer only supports a 2.4GHz wireless band.
