hi everyone,
for some reason...our 6968 is not printing now. it worked fine yesterday, but today, it acts like it's printing (a page goes thru the printer) but no ink is shown on the printed page. it's blank. also, scanning a page acts like it's scanning...but the printed page is blank.
I removed the printer and re-added it.
all ink pods shows as full.
firmware shows as up to date.
I see no error anywhere...nothing in the https://xxxxx.local/# page for the printer, everything looks green and ok.
The Error Log provides a list of the printer's last 15 error messages. This log can be used to help diagnose and troubleshoot printer problems and intermittent failures.
please help. i need to print. thanks.
Here are the printer events

@SteveBur, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Try making a Black and Color Photocopy on the printer to check if that works. If the printer is able to make a photocopy fine, then we can conclude that this is not a hardware issue with the printer.
If the printer is not able to make a photocopy, follow the below steps:
Update the printer firmware
Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your MAC.
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Clean the printhead
-
From the printer control panel, open the Setup
menu.
-
Open the Printer Maintenance menu.
-
If necessary, open the Tools menu, and then touch Clean Printhead.
A test page prints.
-
NOTE: If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform all three levels of cleaning again.
Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page
-
Load plain white paper in the input tray.
-
From the printer control panel, open the Setup
menu.
-
Open the Reports or Tools menu.
-
Touch Print Quality Report.
Let me know how this goes.
