The display screen on the printer shows a blue screen with the power icon and the code "C9C7000". The power button does not work. When I open the ink compartment, the ink does not move over to be available to remove. I tried unplugging the printer for 30 minutes, but this did not change the problem.

To isolate the issue, let me know the following-
How is the printer connected to your computer? via USB, wireless or with an ethernet cable?
Any other cables plugged besides the power cable? e.g. a phone cable, USB. etc?
Since the carriage does not move, you can also try troubleshooting steps from this document.

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter the product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - select your preferred option
