The display screen on the printer shows a blue screen with the power icon and the code "C9C7000". The power button does not work. When I open the ink compartment, the ink does not move over to be available to remove. I tried unplugging the printer for 30 minutes, but this did not change the problem.

@VVIll, Welcome to HP Support Community!

To isolate the issue, let me know the following-

How is the printer connected to your computer? via USB, wireless or with an ethernet cable?

Any other cables plugged besides the power cable? e.g. a phone cable, USB. etc?

Since the carriage does not move, you can also try troubleshooting steps from this document.

Let me know the outcome.

Cheers 🙂

It is connected via Wi-Fi. No other cords connected to the printer other than power.
