HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a

I had problems with the printhead and I was suggested to replace the printhead, but unfortunately no luck with the brand-new printhead, and as with the old one, my printer is stuck in the cartridge animation.

These are the steps I took to try to make it work:

1. Removed the printhead and cartridges.
2. Unplugged the printer from the power source
3. Waited about 5 minutes
4. Pressed the power button for about 10 seconds
5. Plugged the printer again
6. Pressed the power button for a few seconds
7. Pressed twice Home, back, and home again twice
8. Entered the service menu and selected menu.
9. Selected full reset
10. Selected OK at FullNVMReset
11. Selected language
12. Selected country
13. Confirmed country
14. Selected continue at print set-up and connect to network.
15. Pressed next after Duplexer animation (didn't remove the duplexer earlier).
16. Opened the cover door and installed the empty brand-new printhead.
17. Closed the door.
18. Still printhead animation
19. Opened the door
20. Installed cartridges
21. Closed the door
22. Still printhead animation

When I open the cover door a second time the printhead doesn't move, I need to power the printer off and on to be able to get the printhead in position to be removed.

Please HELP!!!

Turn off your Officejet Pro 860 printer. Count 10 seconds, then turn it ON again. Once the printer is ON, push the back button on the printer's front panel four times.

Diana
