I can typically print, however on a sporadic occasion, I get a message that the printer in an error state with the message popping up that my HP Notebook is unable to communicate with the printer.... in the past I have had to delete the HP printer driver and software for the 4 in one to be able to print, scan, etc, and then reload it. I have run diagnostics... including double checking the IP addressing/Network Name, etc. and it all matches up. What is potentially going on? As I said... it is sporadic... will be able to print without any issues, PDF and DOC files, etc, but then this issue pops up....
Thank you in advance for your help!!!

Hi @Sarian94,
I read your post and I understand you're facing intermittent connectivity issue.
I'd like to help!
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor
Download HP Print and Scan Doctor and run the program. It will automatically diagnose and fix any printer connectivity issues.
For more information, go to https://support.hp.com/us-en/topic/printscandoctor
Try to set manual IP-
To set a manual IP and try the steps below
--->Touch on the wifi icon ((i)) on the printer, and take down the IP address
--->Open a web browser (ex Chrome or Mozilla) and type in the printer's IP
--->then go to network ---> general ---> network protocols ---> select IPV4 only-->apply
--->go to wireless ---> wireless 802.11---> select manual ip ---> apply
--->Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS.
--->then go to settings on the main ews page --> power management ---> select sleep mode to max 15min
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
