Hello, I have an issue with my HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 printer. I had recently changed out the ink in all 3 colors with the matching 951 hp color ink it asks for, however upon replacement, I have an error saying the following. Printer Failure: Problem with the Printer or Ink System, reset the printer. If the problem persists, contact HP Support. 

 

I followed the virtual assistant guide and have done the following to try and remedy the issue.

Soft reset via Power on/Off

Hard reset via pulling the plug and plugging it in

Reseated the printhead via lifting and setting down and wiggling. 

Reseated the ink cartidges

And attempted to reinstall the drivers and firmware through hp software.

 

Reminder, this stemmed after replacing my HP 951 color cartridges with new 951 color cartridges. Any assistance would be appreciated

Your printer 8610 is one of the few printers than can use non-hp ink.

Make sure you have the this exact firmware to take advantage of the ink supply.
