Hi, my HP is connected to a power strip together PC, Monitor and others.
I turn off my printer before turning off the power strip following user guide procedure.
When I turn on the power strip my printer turns on automatically and this is very annoying because every time I have to turn off it.
Is there a way to turning on my printer manually?
Thx!

Hi,
When you turn off the printer, do you wait until the power light turns off before turning off the power strip?

Thanks for clarifying.
Please ensure the latest firmware is up to date:
Additionally, to deny any issue related to the power-strip itself, if you power down the printer and unplug it, then plug it directly to a wall socket to test, does the printer powers on automatically or not?
I will also test the device if this is expected or not as soon as I can access it.
Please let me know if any of the steps above provide any other response,
Shlomi

Hi, here I am!
Firmware was updated.
I tested the printer plugging it to a wall socket but nothing to do, it powers on automatically. 😂
It may be a faulty device or something like that.
