My OfficeJet Pro 9015 has been showing a blue screen with code B305DFF9 on the screen for the last month or so. When this happens, the power button will not shut the printer down, I have to unplug the power cord and reset the printer then plug it back in. The printer works fine for a little while after the reset, but then the blue screen and code returns.
I have contacted Xfintity and had them troubleshoot my modem and after they rebooted the modem, they said that everything was fine with the modem.
Unfortunately the printer is no longer under warranty.

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I have the exact same problem. looks like a manufacture defect that should be covered. My printer is only 18 months old with average use. Using expensive HP ink too the entire time. Fixes do not work. Need this for my wife's business. Will have to find another brand that is more reliable.

Hi @Baldeagle108, @Michael820 ,
I'd like to help!
Let's try a power reset on the printer
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thanks for the reply, however I have reset the printer. The only way to use it when the blue screen and code comes up, is to reset it. After I reset, the printer works but before long same thing again.
