My father has an HP Office Jet 9025 InkJet printer.  The printer's touchscreen is displaying error "B8348E96" with the infamous blue screen.  He has tried unplugging and plugging the computer from/to AC power (waiting an hour or more in between).  The same error code and blue screen return after the printer initializes.  He is also unable to turn off the printer with the power switch.

 

I have searched this forum and the internet in general and cannot find a reference to this error code.  What can be done to address this issue?

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you are receiving a "B8348E96" error on the printer screen.

 

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

 

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
