HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e All-in-One Printer

Every time I turn on the printer it says a problem has occurred with my HP account and offers no further information or errors. I don't know how to resolve this and there doesn't appear to be any method of speaking to support.

Hi @Annie229

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I'm sorry you're facing this issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e printer—it can be frustrating when the error message doesn't provide clear guidance. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:

1. Sign In to Your HP Account

  • Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  • Sign in to your HP account and check for any notifications or issues related to your account.

2. Verify Instant Ink Subscription

  • If you're enrolled in HP Instant Ink, ensure your subscription is active and your payment method is up to date.
  • You can manage your subscription through the HP Instant Ink website.

3. Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for 2 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Check if the error message persists.

4. Restore Factory Defaults

  • Access the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS):
    • Type the printer's IP address into a web browser.
    • Navigate to Settings > Tools > Restore Factory Defaults.
  • This will reset the printer to its original settings.

5. Update Firmware

  • HP regularly releases new firmware versions for printer enhancements, app updates, or issue fixes. Update the firmware regularly to get the most out of your printer.
