I have purchased a new HP coloured ink cartridge (302) and the printer does not appear to recognise it. On the screen for checking ink levels there is an exclamation mark next to that cartridge. I have reinstalled the previous cartridge (worked fine for six months) and it is showing the same icon.
I have updated firmware and re-booted etc.

Please try these steps - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge
If the issue still persists, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding this.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
