I've just switched out my official hp cartridges for new ones (printer was working fine yesterday), however, after installation the printer is now stuck on 'printing alignment page' I've gone through all the troubleshooting points and uninstalled the software. My laptop now won't connect with the printer when trying to reinstall the software because it's still stuck on the alignment message! I have a two fold problem! Help!

If you insert your old ink, do you get the error message?

Hi - I went down the firm update route and it was all up to date. So I tried printing the web services info (which came out).  I then managed to get back to the home page screen from there. However, I then shut down the printer and then switched it back on, and it rolled back to 'load plain paper' message. So whilst I have a work around now it still isn't booting up correctly.

 

Any other suggestions?

Hi - I've been working through the options in the toolbox and the printer alignment is still causing issues. Plus the laptop is not connecting with the printer over my network when trying to reinstall the software.
