HP OfficeJet 7612 Wide Format e-All-in-One
macOS 12.0 Monterey

I opened the deck cover of my HP Officejet 7612 to change the ink. The left hinge broke when I lifted it up. This printer has been sitting unused in my office for a couple years. I was able to lift the cover and check the in two days ago without a problem. Based on the other posts and info online, it looks like this is a common problem for the left hinge, specifically, to break on these printers. Very disappointing since I have always purchased HP printers, and my home OfficeJet 8620 hasn’t had any problems.
