HP Officejet J4680 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP OFFICEJET j4680 WON'T POWER ON AT ALL.

Before this happened, I couldn't power off the printer when I pressed the power button. I had to unplug it from the wall to cut the power.

I ONLY plug my printer into the wall socket, Not a surge protector.  I've done the reset and now it won't power on at all. I do get power to the charger box but doesn't power the printer. In the past I did a reset that included pressing a # on the keypad I think it was #3 or #6? I'm not sure why but I think it was to drain the power from the printer. Now I can't find that particular explanation for a reset fix. But I STILL CANNOT POWER IT ON. PLEASE HELP, I can't afford another printer.

Hi @Netrok33,

I'd like to help!

I understand the printer will not power ON.

identify the power supply for your printer and refer to one of the following sections that match it.

  • Printer with internal power supply

    Internal power supply example

  • Printer with external power supply

    External power supply example

  • Printer with battery power supply

    Mobile printer with battery example

Also, try the steps in the document -HP printer does not turn on

If the issue persists, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
