Power and Resume lights flashing - have tried all troubleshooting.  There is NO paper jam and the ink carriage is all the way over to the right and will not slide to the left.

This condition on your printer might be due to a paper jam or a carriage jam.

Try a hard reset-

Sometimes the printer is in an error state because it needs to be reset. Follow these steps to reset the printer.

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

  5. Wait at least 60 seconds.

  6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

  7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

  8. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

  9. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

If the issue persists, refer to this document for complete troubleshooting steps on blinking lights.

Your suggestion did not work, and I tried it several times.  I still have power and resume lights flashing and it will not print.

Seems like a hardware issue on the printer. I would recommend you to try our other support options.

4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the appropriate option based on your preference.
