Hi - I've been having the same problem. Have only used genuine HP Cartridges the whole time and have carried out the hard reset with the ink cartridges removed, as described above. The machine is around 30 months old and works perfectly save for this issue, which is, it will print in blue if it is words or the test sheet, but seems unable to print if it is (for example) a blue banner across the page with white writing therein, at which point it "flakes out" and resorts to pink. I know I could bin the machine and buy another, but that seems crass and wasteful in light of how the planet is these days, plus this seems to be a recurring problem as there are many asking the same question - and it's always the blue ink, not the others. I would appreciate any guidance - thank you.

Copy paste from another post, this worked for me so I am sharing.

I have/had this problem and it took a post on the Microsoft help forum from a nice French person (through google translate) to get a few people printing color again.

Post is by Voilalan and worked for me.

It seems to be a combination of HP techs not knowing what's going on and a conflict with a Win 10 update, at least that is the idea I am getting.
