HP Officejet Pro 6968 printer only prints blank pages

HP Recommended
HP Ofiicejet Pro 6968
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

* Printer is currently only printing blank pages.

* Unable to copy documents or print documents from my PC.

* Original issue was no color and very faded black print jobs.  (B&W print jobs were extremely faded)

* Installed all new ink cartridges and that did not resolve the issue.

* Cleaned the print head 6 times.  Still printing only blank pages.

* Followed recommendation to clean the ports using inkjet printer cleaning solution, now pages are completely blank.

* Cleaned print head again several times, no change.

*  Ran HP Print and Scan Doctor and no issues were found.

*  I am able to scan documents to my PC

Can this issue be resolved?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi @,mpmatt

If you have already performed the steps from the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps!
