Example: HP Laserjet Pro 6968

The printer has stopped printing black ink. I thought this was becuase the ink was low, so I bought a new ink cartridge but still no luck. I have tried to clean the printhead repeatedly but having no luck. I followed the entire 40 minutes troubleshooting instructions from HP and still no luck.  The HP Rep sent me a replacement cartridge and still the same problem.

What else can I do?  Please help!

Thanks for responding Betty0610.

I did contact HP Support and they diagnosed the problem as a defective print head.  Unfortunately, that model printer has a fixed printhead which is not removable.

The only solution is to replace the printer.

Thanks.
