Hi There
I have I have bough a Office Jef Pro 7740 and since the date of installation I have been having issues.
As soon as the printer goes into sleep mode, I cannot print anything, even after the printer is aware and I cant switch it off, it goes into a loop and does not switch off.
The only way is to unplug if straight from the mains.
The printer in connected to a Mac.
Hope you can help me.
Many thanks

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Updating the printer firmware and disabling IPV6 may resolve this issue. Let us try these steps:
Update the printer firmware
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Check the sleep mode and Auto-off settings:
- From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup
.
- Touch Power management > Sleep mode > After 15min.
- Go back and select Auto OFF > Choose the desired option.
Turn off IPv6 on the printer
From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup
.
Touch Network Setup, and then touch Advanced Settings.
Select IPv6 > OFF, and then touch Yes to confirm.
- Reboot the router and printer.
To check the printer connectivity with MAC, Perform a PING test
- Obtain the IP address of the printer by clicking on the Wireless icon
on the printer
- On the MAC Go to Spotlight > search for Network utility > select Ping tab > enter the IP address of the printer in the box
- Check the second box that says Send only > 10 pings
- Click on ping > Check the results at the end if any packets are lost
- Note: There should be 0% packet loss
Let me know how this goes.
