My HP Officejet Pro 8610 is displaying the following message:

"There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on. If problem persists, contact support."

 

I followed the directions with no results. I also:

Unplugged the printer for one minute to clear it

Replaced low ink cartridge

Removed all ink cartridges and put them back in

 

Any advice or solution suggestions are much appreciate - thanks!

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you are facing a " There is a problem with  printer or ink system" error

 

If you have already performed the steps from the document Printhead errors and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

  • I've sent you a private message with further instructions to get this issue sorted.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this
