HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer

I hope this community can help!

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8620 which is only printing blank pages since replacing the printhead with Brand GZBCKJ, HP950 and HP951 printhead from Amazon. Which says it is an HP compatible with my 8620.  The printhead was replaced because the printer reported the printhead was missing or damaged.

1. Installed the new printhead. 

2. Replaced printer cartridges with new print cartridges.  

3. Ran "Align Printhead", "Calibrate Linefeed', and "Clean Printhead" multiple times, with the same result ... the printer acts/sounds like it is printing but spits out a blank sheet and a "Align printhead unsuccessful" message.

Actions taken:

1. Reseated printhead multiple times (unplug unit/release printhead/remove/inspect/wait 60 secs/reinstall, gently moving printhead side-side to ensure it is seated/secure printhead/close door/plug in).

2. Confirmed ink levels are full for all colors (Magenta, Cyan, Yellow and Black as I replaced them all with new cartridges.

3. Don't know the firmware version. I am connected to my wireless home network. Not Ethernet. 

4. Inspected printhead and contacts for debris while carefully ensuring to not touch them.

 

When I go into Tools and print a diagnostic report, that also comes out blank. So whether I print from my computer or print from the Printer itself (Diagnostic pages, etc.) it only comes out with Blank pages. Thanks.

I see that you are facing issues with your HP Officejet Pro 8620 E-All-In-One Printer wherein it is printing blank pages.

 

 

Please check if you are using the cartridges that came with the new printhead as these cartridges need to initialize the printhead.

Please follow the steps from this document to replace the printhead. (Click on the word document to open the web page).
