I changed my black 950XL cartridge to an authentic HP replacement cartridge and suddenly get "Print Failure".  I tried all unplugging, removing all cartridges,etc.  When I put old cartridge back in, I get message that I need to install new cartridge as ink is out.  I tried new HP cartridge with expiry 1/2024.  When I noticed print error I rebooted/unplugged and then installed newer HP cartridge with expiry of 9/2025.   And STILL have print failure error. Have had no problems with printer until I changed the black cartridge.  HP Smart App recognizes new "original HP Cartridges" and shows black as full but still shows "Printer Failure".   Please tell me what else I can try.   I have seen this Print Failure error frequently with no real resolution.  Hopefully someone smart at HP can save many printers from hitting the land fill for no reason except that they are out of warranty.
