HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 All-in-One Printer

I keep receiving error codes 01B3B8E6. This occurred after I changed out the ink cartridges on the printer, prior to, it was working well. I unplugged the printer from both the wall and on the physical printer and left it unplugged from both ends over night. Once I plugged the printer back in to power, error code 042D34E8 showed up. When I unplug the power and re-plug it back in, then the first error code shows up again. Even with the printer powered on and physically connected to my computer via USB, the computer does not read the printer as being on. I have attempted to update the driver and run the HP diagnostic tool that I downloaded from the HP website, but since the printer cannot be read by my computer to be on with the error codes appearing, the diagnostic tool nor can the update be pushed to the driver. Please assist!

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you are getting a blue screen error on the printer, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
