Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP P2035 attn light comes on after turning printer on. Did a print a test page and light cleared after some printing light comes on again. Why?

Does it print one page and then error? If so, it is possible that the paper size set on the printer does not match the loaded paper. This condition will cause that error. It is also possible that the pickup solenoid is sticking, this is easily determined if you hear the pickup roller turning continously. This roller should normally only rotate once when picking a page. You can examine the roller for wear by removing the tray and looking at the grey roller in the top middle of the paper tray cavity. It should have fine fingerprint like ridges on it. If it is smooth then the roller needs to be replaced.

Repair...  No it just ends up printing two blank sheets and the light comes on. Doing a test print prints the test info and clears the status light.

Have you rechecked your driver and program settings? This really sounds like a size mismatch error. Do you get the same behavior printing from different programs?
