PageWide Pro 452dw
Linux

Hello,

i setup a new HP PageWide Pro 452dw and connected it to our network. Installation and setup went quite well and he prints without problems.

The printer can be accessed via LAN alone with a fixed IP. An admin account with password is set up in the web interface. Everything concerning WiFi and Clound is disabled. Otherwise it runs in the default settings except SNMP.

Since I want to monitor the printer with my Check_MK (nagios), which works very well, SNMP v1/v2 was activated with community names set. SNMP v3 has been disabled.

The problem is that querying the SNMP data no longer works once the printer switches to standby. The web interface still works and as soon as it is called, the SNMP query works again. The result is that 10 minutes after a completed print job, the mailbox is filled with error messages about that the printer does not respond

Is it possible to make SNMP queries in standby mode or have I missed a configuration item?

Thank you

Peter
