Hello Guys,

 

i've noticed that my printer does a restart from time to time (several times a day). If i am at the printer ontime, i can see a blue screen and then it does a restart.

I dont find any notes in the printer web-ui (newest message is low on ink of black; thats the only message of this year).

 

I already did a firmware upgrade (which was shown since several months) as i thought it would fix it. But its still restarting.

I dont have any warranty anymore and i didnt yet try factory reset.

 

 

Is there any way of diving a bit deeper into troubleshooting? Like a real log showing the reason of the crash?

Having the same issue, seems to have started shortly after the latest firmware update.

I would suggest as a first step that you perform a factory reset to eliminate any possible corrupt settings. Also make sure that you are plugged directly into the wall and not into any type of surge protector or UPS.

Thanks, I have done a factory reset, have not witnessed a restart yet, but I could be missing them, will monitor for a few days.
