Product: HP PageWide Pro 477dw Multifunction Printer

Hello,

I am encountering the same issue described in the ticket "HP PageWide Pro MFP 477dw firmware update failed, now bricked" : The printer is bricked due to an error during a firmware update.

 

The solution (in 2019) consisted in downloading the RFU file for the printer from the HP ftp site...but the ftp site is no longer available.

How/Where can I get a RFU file for my HP PageWide Pro MFP 477dw in order to fix it ?

You need ful2 file as described in that post. You can get a ful2 file from firmware file that you can download from hp.com and extract the firmware .exe with a 7zip software
